1. Can an order be shipped to a different address as a gift?
No, orders cannot be shipped to a different address. This policy is in place to prevent misuse and ensure the integrity of the gifting experience.
2. Is gifting packaging included?
The piece arrives thoughtfully packaged, prepared to be given and received with care.
4. How long does it take to create a micro portrait?
A single-face portrait typically takes 6–8 working days to complete. Each piece is created through a careful process of observation and refinement, with timelines varying slightly depending on the composition and level of detail involved.
3. Can a portrait be created from a photograph?
Yes, portraits are exclusively created from photos. Typically, 2-3 high-quality images are requested to achieve the best results. For any special requests or additional details, direct contact is encouraged.

Yes. The composition can be adjusted to reflect personal preferences or specific requests, including the arrangement of subjects and selected details. Each piece is created with consideration for the individual it represents.

6. What materials are used for the portraits?
Each portrait is hand-drawn using graphite pencils on high-quality 250gsm acid-free paper, ensuring durability and longevity.
2. What is the ideal size for a micro portrait?
Most commissioned micro portraits are created between 8mm and 2cm. This range allows the work to retain both clarity and the sense of scale that defines the piece.
Portraits below this range are typically reserved for exhibition works and conceptual studies, where visibility becomes secondary to scale itself. Larger sizes begin to move away from the micro-scale character of the work.
The final size is determined by the composition, level of detail, and intended format of the piece.
5. What is included with Framed Micro Portrait?
Each framed micro portrait arrives thoughtfully packaged in a custom presentation box. Included with the piece is the framed portrait, a magnifying glass for close viewing, and a certificate of authenticity.
Selected presentation details are prepared to ensure the piece is received with the same level of consideration with which it was created.

8. Is it possible to request a specific style or background?
This depends on the background. Sharing references will help determine whether the request can be accommodated.
10. Are changes or modifications possible after placing an order?
It depends on the stage of the process. It is always recommended to communicate any requests before the order begins.
7. Will a preview be provided before finalising the portrait?
Yes, a preview will be shared before finalisation for review and corrections.
9. What are the size and material of the frame?
The frame is made of pure aluminium, making it highly durable. It comes in a 6x6 inch size, designed to complement different portrait compositions. Unless the number of faces or the composition requires adjustment, the frame size remains the same.
4. Is full payment required upfront?
In most cases, an advance deposit is required to confirm and begin the order. For larger deposits, a partial payment option may be considered in special cases if agreed upon.
1. How can an order be placed?
Simply fill out the form in the contact section with details about your vision, and a response will follow shortly. An estimated timeline may be provided based on the current waitlist.
3. Are pre-bookings required?
Yes. Pre-booking is recommended, as each portrait requires dedicated time and attention throughout the process.
Rush orders are not available, in order to maintain the level of care and consideration each piece requires.

2. What payment methods are accepted?
Currently, payments are processed via email communication from contact@sushmitkishore.com.
For Indian clients: UPI and bank transfers
For international clients: Razorpay, PayPal and bank transfers
5. Can an order be cancelled or modified after placing it?
This depends on the stage of the order. If the work has already started or includes significant customisation, cancellation may not be possible due to its nature.
1. Is international shipping available?
Yes, international shipping is available. FedEx and DHL are used for fast and reliable delivery, with shipping typically taking 5-10 days, depending on the destination. Additional customs fees may apply based on local regulations.

If a delay or loss is noticed, please reach out immediately for assistance in resolving the issue.
2. Are customs duties or taxes included in the shipping cost?
Our prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, customs duties (if applicable) may be charged by the recipient's country. These charges are determined by local authorities and are the recipient’s responsibility. If customs clearance is required, assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth process

India: 3-5 working days
International: 5-10 working days
