A single-face portrait typically takes 6–8 working days to complete. Each piece undergoes a careful process, including observation and quality checks, to ensure the highest standards of precision and craftsmanship. Timelines may vary slightly based on complexity and current order volume.

3. Can a portrait be created from a photograph?

Yes, portraits are exclusively created from photos. Typically, 2-3 high-quality images are requested to achieve the best results. For any special requests or additional details, direct contact is encouraged.

Client satisfaction is the highest priority. If the final piece does not meet expectations, every effort will be made to ensure the client is pleased with the result. To achieve the best outcome, placing orders in advance is recommended, allowing ample time for refinement without compromising quality.

Each portrait is hand-drawn using graphite pencils on high-quality 250gsm acid-free paper, ensuring durability and longevity.

The ideal size for a micro portrait ranges from 8mm to 2cm, allowing for intricate details to be captured while maintaining a visually clear and refined appearance. This size range is recommended to appreciate the craftsmanship and delicate nature of the piece fully.

Portraits smaller than 8mm, often around 4mm, are typically created for exhibition pieces with a conceptual focus. Due to their extreme scale, they can be difficult to see even with a magnifying glass, making them less suitable for personal commissions. On the other hand, portraits larger than 2cm begin to lose the distinct micro-scale effect that defines their uniqueness.

5. What is included with Framed Micro Portraits?

Each framed micro portrait is elegantly presented in a custom box, designed to create a refined unboxing experience. Inside, you’ll find the micro portrait in our signature frame, a magnifying glass for closer appreciation, an artwork certification, and thoughtfully curated presentation elements, ensuring that every detail is beautifully showcased from the moment it is revealed.

12. What is a micro portrait?

A micro portrait is a fine art form—an exceptionally detailed, hand-drawn portrait created at an incredibly small scale, typically as tiny as 3mm or 1cm. Despite its miniature size, every stroke is meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the subject, making it a unique and timeless piece of art.

13. What are the size and material of the frame?

The frame is made of pure aluminium, making it highly durable. It comes in a 6x6 inch size, designed to complement different portrait compositions. Unless the number of faces or the composition requires adjustment, the frame size remains the same.

4. Is full payment required upfront?

In most cases, an advance deposit is required to confirm and begin the order. For larger deposits, a partial payment option may be considered in special cases if agreed upon.

3. Are pre-bookings required?

Yes, pre-booking is recommended to secure a slot, as each portrait requires significant time and precision. Orders are completed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Rush orders are not available due to the nature of the process.

• For Indian clients: UPI and bank transfers

This depends on the stage of the order. If the work has already started or includes significant customisation, cancellation may not be possible due to its nature.

Our prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes. However, customs duties (if applicable) may be charged by the recipient's country. These charges are determined by local authorities and are the recipient’s responsibility. If customs clearance is required, assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth process
